The Tab

* Privacy Policy · Effective July 14, 2026 *

The Tab ("the app") is operated by Rafik Manla Hassan. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: your data exists to make bill-splitting work between you and your friends — it is never sold, never used for advertising, and you can delete all of it yourself at any time.

What we collect

Where it lives

Data is stored with Supabase (hosted on Amazon Web Services) and encrypted in transit. Access is enforced row-by-row: only you, your friends, and your fellow group members can see the data the app shares between you.

What we don't do

Deleting your data

In the app: Friends tab → Profile → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, friendships, groups, and every entry you created, including on friends' tallies. There is no grace period and no backup copy kept.

Children

The Tab is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will change and the app will point to the updated version.
